An entry for The World Data Visualization Prize. Category: the Future of Frontiers.
Megatrends are large, transformative processes that have a global impact. Over 130 megatrends were collected from 18 reports and one chatbot.
The design was inspired by a quilt. Hexagons, which contain the megatrends, are patched together to show the forces that will shape our future. Quotes from the reports are used to mimic the stitching that binds a quilt together.
